Would you like some more clarification on the California prop 65 warning?
You may have seen something that says “This product may contain a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer or reproductive harm.” This warning is only meant for the residents of California that require it. In the state of California, retailers, importers and anyone who would like to do business is required (by California law) to have every product they sell or offer either tested for over 800 different chemicals or labeled with the warning. Testing each and every product becomes quite cumbersome and expensive. In an effort to keep our prices economically desirable for our consumer and continue offering our great products to the 38 million residents of California, HDS Trading Corp opts to label each piece that it imports. Testing each unit would cause prices to go up and not be efficient for supplying all the stores we offer our products.
